Opera San Luis Obispo has an extensive presence in opera education and helping everyone with an interest in opera, from the earliest beginner to the most informed enthusiast.

Outreach
Artistic Director and Conductor, Dr. Brian Asher Alhadeff, is a frequent lecturer throughout the United States and abroad. Our maestro developed an exciting original presentation style that captivates audiences with digitally projected high-definition video and audio. Dr. Alhadeff is only too happy to engage your classroom or organization. Presentations are unique to each venue and range from 45 minutes to 3 hours. Each presentations utilizes current, historic, and documentary video and audio, and animated information for a three-dimensional multimedia voyage into opera. Pre-Opera Talks
One hour before the curtain rises, Maestro Alhadeff presents a Pre-Opera Extravaganza! exclusive to Opera San Luis Obispo. In a 30-45 minute presentation, Maestro Alhadeff set the tone and pace for each performance with his unique digitally projected adventure, fully preparing audiences for the live opera experience to come.
